The verdict is in: You think Duchess Kate's official portrait is a royal mess.
Though Kate said the painting, unveiled on Friday, was "absolutely brilliant," her fans disagree, blaming the work of art for giving her an aged appearance.
Many of you took to Facebook to tell us how badly you think the piece represents the royal.
"Not very flattering considering she is so stunning!" Stacey Ireland-Toal wrote.
"She looks like a well taken care of senior citizen," wrote Monica Bennett.
"Wow, she looks old," wrote Randi Heller. "I think she was being polite. She's probably freaking out about it behind the scenes."
In a TODAY.com poll, 67% of you said you don't think the portrait looks like Kate.
Even those who praised the skill of the painter didn't think the image was particularly flattering.
"It's a beautiful portrait but she looks much older than 31 in this," said TODAY Facebook fan Mae Evans-Lee, while Tina Nolan said the painting wasn't "that flattering, but the art work is amazing."
Critics also vented their thoughts on Twitter, many sharing spoof versions of the image.
This isn't the first time an official depiction of the duchess has proved unpopular with fans.
In March of 2011 the British Royal Mint unveiled a coin in honor of the royal wedding which was roundly criticized at the time for bearing no resemblance to Kate.
